A special floating belt system protects the leg from the direct contact with metal even in case of a strongest hit. And the most important: the lowest edge of the greave doesn't rub sore.
The greaves are fastened on the arm by belts made of natural black leather. From the inside the belts are extra processed to have thickness of 2.2 mm on their whole length. This makes it possible to buckle them quickly and easily and to hide the rest of the belt. The belts are long enough to wear the greaves over quilted stockings or quilted greaves.
The greaves are coated with rust-free paint from the inside.
The metal has the thickness of 1 mm. LARP-Optima.
